Being a mentor for Nature was one of best decisions I made while at ASU. Being able to pass on my knowledge of the conservation program to future students and guide them along in their studies was a life changing experience. I got to relive what it was like to be a freshman again and how daunting university can be especially without a helping hand. Since I didn’t have this type of guidance as a freshman, I wanted to give guidance to those who needed it and set them on the path to success. Watching the mentees develop into successful students was such a rewarding experience.
